Tata Power is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our power generation and distribution facilities. You will work on a wide range of projects, from renewable energy installations to grid infrastructure improvements.
- Design electrical systems and components for power generation and distribution.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for electrical projects.
- Perform electrical load calculations and equipment sizing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues and system failures.
- Implement and adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, and other electrical design software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Experience in the power generation and distribution industry is preferred.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Electrical system design and analysis.
- Project management and coordination.
- Technical report writing and documentation.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with engineering software.
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, etc.) is a plus.
