Description
Adani Transmission is seeking a talented and motivated Transmission Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Transmission Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our transmission infrastructure. You will work on a variety of projects related to the transmission of electrical energy, including design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct studies to assess the performance of transmission systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop transmission infrastructure plans and projects.
- Design, review, and modify transmission system components and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of transmission lines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve transmission system issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Monitor transmission system performance and recommend upgrades or repairs as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and timelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of transmission system activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in transmission engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Strong understanding of electrical transmission systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in transmission engineering or a related field.
- Experience with transmission system design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with power system analysis software is a plus.
- Previous work in the energy or utility sector is advantageous.
